The loom is fully assembled now but easily disassembled to manageable sized parts for transport and easy reassembly. This loom is great for all types of weaving but it offers special advantages to rug weaving: it has double brakes (two in front and two in back) for extremely even and firm tension, an overhead beater and is extremely well constructed. July 30, 2010 48” Macomber 4 Harness Ad-A-Harness loom for sale. $1000 OBO. I have used this loom for 20 years as a production loom. It is a wonderful loom to weave with, from fine linens to rugs. It is extremely easy and ergonomic to warp. This loom has the capacity to have 6 more harnesses added to it. It has a friction break, comes with 3 reeds and a bench.
