| "The Webster" is the newsletter of the Guild. It provides members with news of Board and membership actions, information about activities, workshops and programs, introduces new members, lists changes and additions to the annual directory, lists the unaffiliated study group contacts, and any items of interest to the membership.
The editor is an elected officer of the Guild. She is responsible for writing or editing the copy and for distributing the newsletter. Today, more than ninety per cent of the members receive an electronic edition rather than a paper copy. The editor also sends electronic notices to members at times outside the publication dates. The editor prepares, publishes, and arranges printing of the annual directory of the Guild each fall. The directory is vital to the Guild with our members living over such a large geographic area. | The five annual issues appear at the end of the months of August, October, January, March, and May.
The deadline for submissions is the 20th of the month of publication. Submissions may be mailed to Whidbey Weavers Guild, PO Box 795, Coupeville WA 98239, ATTN: "Webster".
